Tom and Katie Wedding

This gorgeous bride and groom are based in London but it was St Wilfreds church, Ripley and Rudding Park near Harrogate that became the backdrop for their beautiful October Wedding.

Groom Tom grew up on the family farm at Brearton, just a few miles from Ripley and took this opportunity to create their dream wedding day back in North Yorkshire where they both met and grew up.

The Bridesmaids wore blush coloured dresses and the men wore tweed waistcoats. Katie wanted the flowers to have a rustic Autumnal theme and to incorporate pheasant feathers to reflect their interests in the farming and shooting.

The hand tied style bouquets were designed using Lisianthus, Quicksand and Vendela roses to match the blush coloured bridesmaids dresses, hypericum berries, copper beech leaves and twisted willow twigs were also included. The handles were bound with tweed fabric to match the Grooms men’s waistcoats.

As a nod to the couple’s cycling hobby, Bronze sprayed bicycles, decorated with foliage and gypsophilia decorated the entrance to their stunning Rudding Park venue. The gorgeous staircase in the hotel was garlanded in mixed foliage and fairy lights, while hurricane lanterns and candles adorned the stairs.

The couple chose a mixture of tall and low table centrepieces incorporating twisted willow, pheasant feathers and berries. Gold glittered conkers and copper beech leaves scattered on the tables added to the Autumn theme.
